1947 Maxium Fire Truck

The Windsor VA Volunteer Fire Department wanted to restore their original fire truck, a 1947 Maxium fire truck based on a Chevrolet two ton truck frame. After reviewing the condition of the truck, it was decided to have the truck completely sand blasted to remove all accumulated rust. Following blasting, all parts were painted with an epoxy primer. Badly rusted metal was cut out and replaced with new metal. finally, the truck was primed, block sanded, final primer and the color coating. We worked on the cab, fenders, hood, running boards and water tank separately. Our customer did the disassembly and assembly.

1965 Porsche 356C

A customer bought a 1965 356C body to us for evaluation.  the car had been disassembled eight years before, had been sand blasted, primed and then sat as the prior owner was discouraged by its condition.

We provided a rough but detailed estimate of the body work that would be required.  The customer accepted that the estimate was a guide and decided to proceed.  The final cost was not far off of the initial estimate.

With this project, the customer wanted to assemble the car himself.  He did a wonderful job and he has successfully shown the car in multiple National AACA shows.
